lp_client_browser(9)
Hi,
Is anyone successfully using this tag? - http://www.lassosoft.com/tagswap/detail/lp_client_browser(9)
I have been testing tonight (attempting to get bot detection working) and whenever I call the tag from multiple browsers, the data returned is always:
map(browser = No User Agent Provided, os = , type = Suspected Robot/Crawler/Spider, typecode = X, version = )
Testing using both the Mac and CentOS 6 versions of LP 9.2.5.
I see that it is listed as an 'Experimental port'.
My ultimate goal is to disable sessions if it is a bot visiting our site. If there is an alternative method for doing the above, i would love to hear about it.
Regards
Daniel Parker
