instancemanager / lassoserver issues
L9.1.5 Mac Lion 10.7.3.
This is an install on a dev laptop. I have setup Apache config for my hosts, have some vhosts setup as instances running L9 code. Most things are working, but something seems fishy, so i'll try to explain why...
First, if I restart an instance, it never actually reboots fully, just leaves me with "Not Started". Clicking "Start Instance" just attempts to start it, but ends up failing. If I return in 5 mins, it's restarted itself! Anyway to get a slightly faster reboot process? The theory that if I simply load a page on the site causing it to automatically reboot itself is not working as well as rebooting apache. It's currently best to go make a coffee!
Next, at various times the instancemanager goes into realm authentication meltdown with repeated requests, even though i've authenticated less than 10 minutes ago. It won't let me cancel, and won't accept the password, so I have found the only way to prevent this loop is unloading and reloading with launchctl.
The possible nemesis is if I try to run lassoserver in a terminal window, I get:
-bash-3.2$ lassoserver

I have installed the Lasso9Dependencies.osx.pkg.zip required to get lassoserver to run through prompt so I thought this might be a permissions issue, but so far can't find anything wrong.
Something clearly must have gone astray at install. Any suggestions would be really helpful.
Many thanks,
Adam
