content-type issue (I think)
Hi All,
Strange problem.
We have several apps out in the wild that submit feedback items (bug reports, etc) into our Lasso-based website.
We are moving the submission domain from Lasso 7.x? to 8.5.5 and they no longer submit the POSTed form contents correctly.
We can change the methods the apps use in the future but for now we need to be able to accept the submissions in the old manner.
It turns out that the apps use "content-type: text" rather than "content-type application/x-www-form-urlencoded" in the header when submitting.
The result is that the action-params list is empty when "content-type: text" is used. I can see the submitted form fields in the Client_PostArgs string as a long URL encoded string but I'd rather not have to write our own parameter parsing function, etc.
Is there a way to talk Lasso 8.5.5 into accepting that type? Perhaps it's something in the Apache setup that's different?
Anyone?
thanks in advance
Steve Upton
