Some MySql problem from Rome
Hi all,
we have a corrupted MySql DB (not on a Lasso site) on our server and since then the MySql server is very unstable.
On some of our Lasso sites we randomly get the -609 error.
We have no need to keep this DB, but all efforts made to drop it (with phpmyadmin, Navicat or mysql line command) do not work, with errors like:
MySql server has gone away or Lost connection to MySql server.
Log files report that MySql keeps trying to repair the corrupted InnoDB tables.
We would try:
1) Stop MySql server
2) Delete these files: ib_logfile0, ib_logfile1 and ibdata1
3) Change permissions of the corrupted DB and manually delete it
4) Start MySql server
Is that a good idea or is there another way to kill the DB?
Thanks in advance
francesco
