Marks solution works as an answer to your question. But it is probably not the answer to your problem.
Dynamic variable names are never the best solution to anything.
I suggest you use a map instead.

Thanks Mark–I can=92t believe I didn=92t try it that way to begin with! I guess I always use that for assigning and not retrieving.
