Honestly, I think comedy is more useful for persuasion than a straight
discussion. Comedy has a way of lowering defenses and allowing the point
being made to sink in. Satire, for example, is usually more persuasive
than writing a position paper on the subject.
This is why I think well done comedic movies deserve more credit than
they are given.
