Oracle via JDBC on Linux Lasso 8.5
I have an installation of Lasso 8.5.6 on a Mac that we are moving to our
other production Mac server that is on Linux. We need to connect to an
Oracle database for the purpose of importing data to our internal MySQL.
Everything has been working for years on our Mac Server. I don't see the
same options for which JDBC driver class to use. So when it tries to
connect with the same settings I have on the Mac server, it says:
Warning - Lasso does not see any databases on this host. This usually
means that the address, port, username, or password for the host are
Incorrect.
Is there a driver that I need to install and is available for Centos 5?
Oh, and we have tried to use the native oracle connector to no avail.
