Math in Lasso
Hi all
Lasso 8.5.6 and FMPSA, bracket
I have actually not manipulated variables in Lasso much and cannot seem to get simple addition to work as I wish. I just want to increment an integer variable depending on the results of a series of if statements.
So my "logic" is
[Variable: 'TEST'= (Integer: 0)] make sure the variable is an integer
If a specific field is empty, add 1 to $TEST
If another field is empty, add 1 to $TEST
If a third field is empty, add 1 to $TEST
So at the end of loading the page, $TEST could be 0, 1, 2, or 3 depending on how many of the fields are empty.
I can get as far as adding 1 the first time using [$TEST += 1], but subsequent additions do not seem to work
Any advice will be appreciated!
Stan
