Fletcher Sandbeck
Mac Mini Server
I have a Mac Mini running Mac OS X 10.7.4 Server which was having sporadic performance problems when loading Lasso pages.
I think I've tracked it down to the "Dedicate system resources to server services" option in the Hardware Settings of the Server application. This option is supposed to boost the performance of the built-in server daemons at the expense of GUI applications, but since it probably doesn't know that Lasso is a server daemon I think it was giving preference to Apache and effectively throttling Lasso.
It's probably advisable to turn this option off.
