Lasso 8.6 chokes under heavy load
I run an E-Newsletter service that directs users to landing pages hosted on my Apache 2.2.2/Lasso 8.6 Mac OS X 10.7.5 server.
On occasion, Lasso chokes under load, or runs out of memory or something. When it does, the telltale sign is that I can load Lasso pages, but if I submit certain requests I get errors similar the following one I plucked this morning:
No tag, type or constant was defined under the name "e_e_e_e_e_e_e_" with arguments: array: (38)
ErrorCode: -9948
The errors are always similar. The only difference is that the "name" of the tag that's supposedly missing is different. In some cases, I've seen it turn up with a Roman and a Chinese character as the name of the tag/type/constant that's not defined.
The only thing that cures this condition is a Stop/Start of the Lasso Site (or the Lasso Service itself using commandline Stop/Start). Note that I have several different apache vhosts operating under the same Lasso Site.
The server has 4GB memory, and the database backend in question can be either MySQL or Filemaker SA.
Any suggestions on what to do, or look for?
