Integer size values, Lasso 8.6
Hi all-
Using Lasso 8.6, I=92ve been working on explicitly setting the type of variables (as good practice in Lasso 9.x).
I=92ve ran into something that I don=92t understand (no jokes, I know I=92ve left myself wide open with that statement!).
Passing an integer value from one page to another in a form, I am doing the following:
The action_param is NOT set as an integer explicitly (but the database field is an integer field although I don=92t think this matters), It=92s just set like this:
<input name="cp" type="hidden" value==93[$array_name->get(11)]=94>
On the called page, I have the following:
At the top:
var('cp') = integer(0);
Later on:
$cp = integer(action_param('cp'));
I then have this code directly after:
'cp: ';
$cp;
'<br />size: ';
$cp->size;
'<br />type:';
$cp->type;
'<br />';
What I get returned is this:
cp: 2
size: 0
type:integer
My question is why the size returns as 0 instead of 1?
