Getting Lasso to see MYSQL Databases
I have a new Mac OS 10.10.4/Lasso 8.6 setup. I installed MySQL and can interact with it with the command line and with Sequel Pro. I've turned on Apache and can hit an index page. I installed lasso and succeeded in running it up with the the new lasso connector. I can't, however, see the databases/tables/records I created with the command line/Sequel Pro within the databasebrowser.lassoapp nor can I create a new database from that lassoapp. I can see the lasso internal databases.
I've created an account using Sequel Pro to match up with the lasso site administrator account, but I don't think that's the right direction. I've check the permission on the mysql folder in local: system:read/write, wheel:read, everyone:read; and the data folder in the mysql folder: lasso(which I created):read/write, _mysql:read/write, everyone:read; and the folder of the database I created in Sequel–TestDatabase:lasso:read/write, _mysql:read/write, everyone:read/write.
Clearly, lasso isn't seeing into the folder that contains the mysql or it doesn't have permission to. When I try to add a database with databasebrowser.lassoapp, I get the message "In order to create a new database, one database on the host must be enabled (-1).
I'd appreciate greatly any advice.
