"Couldn't resolve host name error" for Filemaker 13 Server with Lasso 9.2.6 Windows 2012
I installed Lasso 9.6.2 on a Windows 2012 Server with IIS8 following Rachel Guthrie's recommendation that this is stable configuration. I am following the documentation accessible from: http://www.lassoguide.com/index.html
When I try to make a datasource for Filemaker with a Filemaker 13 Server that I am using with Lasso 8.6.3, I get an error "Couldn't resolve host name". I am accessing the same Filemaker Server that I use with my Lasso 8.6.3 Development environment. Everything is exactly the same. I also get this error if I try to edit the datasource. Of course, no databases are listed. I am able to access the Filemaker databases from the Lasso 9 server through a browser using the xml (http://filemaker_host/fmi/xml/FMPXMLRESULT.xml?-dbnames) so Filemaker is not unhappy with a request from my server. It gives a nice list of the databases when I enter the same username and password that I put into the datasource. I can also ping the server from the command line without difficulty. I also tried putting in the ip address directly and I get the same error.
Does anyone have any suggestions?
