Building a page out of directories and contents
Hello -
I have a need to create a document "archive" page and would rather not hand-code all of the links or enter all the particulars into a database.
Is there a way to have Lasso look into a directory and build a page that's human usable based on what it finds? For example, I have hundreds of directories named in this format:
090523
It's a date. May 23, 2009 to be exact. Inside of that directory is a single file (sometimes two) that all have the same naming convention.
So if i have a structure that looks like this:
09523
- 090523SomeFile.pdf
090621
- 090621SomeFile.pdf
090704
- 090704SomeFile.pdf
I want a webpage that looks like this (automatcially via Lasso) :)
<a href="090523SomeFile.pdf">May 23, 2009</a>
<a href="090621SomeFile.pdf">June 21, 2009</a>
<a href="090704SomeFile.pdf">July 4, 2009</a>
Wondering if there was a tag or some other example to point to? Thanks.
