I would like to see what other people do where one would have forms with
different numbers of fields BUT only 1 inline to save the changes.

Example:
Form 1
Fields A,B,C,D,E,F
Form 2
Fields A,B,C
Form 3
Fields C,D.E.F

Then to save the data a single inline for all forms.

inline(-database==8A., 'A' = web_request->param('A'),
'B' = web_request->param('B'),
'C' = web_request->param('C'),
'D' = web_request->param('D'),
'E' = web_request->param('E'),
'F' = web_request->param('F'),
-update)

The issues are:
If a field is present and empty, it should be emptied in the table
If a field is absent, it should not affect the table

I've got something working but I don't like the way it looks, seems clunky.

What do YOU do?
