Hi everyone-

I just had an old customer of mine ask me why there aren't many Lasso developers, and why we were using Lasso.

I told him there were 100's of developers, if not more and the reason he didn't find much when Googling the subject is because Lasso developers aren't a dime a dozen, so they are not scrambling for work or posting about problems all the time :-)

The best thing, however, is what I said about: why Lasso?

With the coming of Lasso 9 and all the new features that still are not available in other languages, I blurted out:

"Lasso is more of a "cutting edge" language - usually several years ahead of others like PHP, ASP, etc..."


Of course I went on about some of the other features- security, speed, etc... but that line above sold him, making him feel his site was written in a superior language that most others and therefore better :-)


I just thought it might help others as a "new" tag line to use in defense of using Lasso if needed (It's been so long that's I've been asked!).
